Cashman, Ellen

John Cashman of Lexington, MA sent me information which he received from the Mallow Heritage Center. That information said that John Dorgan and Ellen Cashman had eight children.

According to Jo Cashman, John Dorgan married Ellen Cashman at Kilmacahill and had four children: Daniel, Mary, Nora and Elizabeth. She wrote to me: “Dan was twice married. I know they were O’Connells. He had one son and two daughters by the first wife. She died and he married her sister for the second wife and no family by the second wife.”

Ellen Cashman could read and write Irish and English.
