Patrick O'Brien and Bridget O'Brien (nee Coleman) were both from County Mayo and lived about a mile apart in Ireland but did not know each other. They met in Brooklyn, New York. They had six children, Thomas, Mary, John, Joseph, Margaret, and James. James O'Brien was killed in WWII. Sargent O'Brien was a machine gunner on a B-25 that was shot down on a mission over Japan. My parents chose my name in his honor, for which I am very proud.
