Patricia Maguire first introduced me to the DORGANS I never knew as a child. Because of her, I have undertaken this project with an almost compulsive obsession. Patricia and her mother Anne Theresa Dorgan, and her brother Francis and sisters, Anne and Hope visited the farm of Patrick Dorgan and Mary Catherine Hartnett in Carrigkilter and also the ancestral home at Ballybraher. I followed in their footsteps in April 2005.
