At the time of the 1930 US Census of Providence RI, Anna M. Higgins was a widow. Her husband, Charles L. Higgins, died five years earlier in 1925.
It appears that Anna M. Hogan, after the death of her husband, Charles L. Higgins, moved to the home of her mother, Sarah Hogan and her sister, Catherine Hogan. It is also interesting to note that the Hogans may have originally been from Kentucky and later, perhaps after the Civil War, settled in Massachusetts. I will check out this connection against the vital records of Massachusetts and Kentucky.
